![]() Host BiographiesCindy Zalevsky attended the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park New York, Greystone in St. Helena California, Johnson & Wales in South Carolina and the Knotter School of Confectionary Arts in Gaithersburg Maryland and has been a college-level baking and pastry instructor. She has toured Europe and Africa learning techniques used in the creation of regional signature dishes. Cindy has been an American Culinary Federation (ACF) member since 1992, chapter president from which she received the “Chef of the Year” award, and has attained the CWPC certification level. She has been the Executive Pastry Chef at a private golf club since 1990. Cindy is a lifelong boater and holds American Sailing Association (ASA) 101, 102 and 103 designations. Harvey Zalevsky holds American Sailing Association (ASA) 101, 102 and 103 designations and is a United States Coast Guard licensed captain. He is a former American Red Cross certified small craft instructor and lifelong sailor and has sailed the Great Lakes, Chesapeake Bay, Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and the waters of the Bahamas and the United States and British Virgin Islands.
